2025 AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers Annual Meeting

The e-CODUCT project was presented overseas, at AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) Annual Meeting held in Boston, United States.

Aleksa Kojčinović, a PhD student at the National Institute of Chemistry, participated with a poster on the topic “e-CODUCT: An Electrified Fluidised Bed Reactor for Sustainable Methanol Synthesis from COS”. The core of e-CODUCT process is an innovative electrothermal fluidized bed reactor, in which challenging feedstocks – H₂S and CO₂ waste streams -are converted into valuable products – methanol and sulphur.
