The e-CODUCT project participated in the LAURELIN Final Conference: Advancing e-fuel production innovation for sustainable transport

7 October 2025 – The e-CODUCT project participated in the LAURELIN Final Conference, held in Brussels, Belgium. Dr Raf Roelant (PDC) and project coordinator Prof Joris Thybaut (UGENT) represented e-CODUCT at the event.
Dr Raf Roelant delivered a lecture on the benefits of the innovative e-CODUCT process during the session “Driving progress in eFuel technologies through research”. Prof Thybaut participated in the roundtable discussion on renewable fuel production as a key to further decarbonising the transport sector.
The final conference was organised following four years of collaborative EU-Japan research in the Horizon Europe project LAURELIN, supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). Its main objective was to achieve better selectivity, yield and energy efficiency in methanol production from CO2 conversion.
The e-CODUCT project thanks the LAURELIN consortium for the invitation in this engaging event.
