The e-CODUCT project was presented at the 21st Multiphase Flow Workshop – Conference and Short Course. The event was organized by Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) in Dresden, Germany.

Ajda Kunavar, a PhD student at the National Institute of Chemistry and a member of the e-CODUCT project team, presented her work on integrating CFD and surface reaction kinetics for a single catalyst particle in a packed-bed reactor for CO conversion during a poster session. The study explores the coupling of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) with surface reaction kinetics to improve understanding and prediction of catalytic behaviour across various reactor configurations, from individual particles to pilot-scale packed-bed systems. Ajda’s work advances multiscale modelling and reactor design in the pursuit of efficient and electrified catalytic processes.
